Lumis
The app I used for this assignment is called
Lumis. I downloaded it off the Apple App Store. Visually, icon and thumbnail,
it’s a visually appealing app—looks professional and useful. And even more, it
is. When you open the app, it gives you a slideshow of pictures created using
the app. It’s quite alluring and attractive-- shows the true potential of the
app.
The
app itself is simple and easy to use. It offers a great variety of effects.
However, its main focus is on stickers and other add-ons. On top of that, it has
a great text tool and many frames that can be used to profoundly enhance your
picture. The following are pictures I edited
through this app:
As
you can see, the border enhances the picture significantly. The text gives it character.
Stickers, as you can see in the second picture, transform the picture.
Lumis is a fun app. Even though it
appears professional, it’s more of a fun and kid-friendly app. The features it
offers are simple and funny; thus, appealing to children.
